For sale is a Garmin G5 Electronic Flight Instrument (EFIS) for FAA-certified aircraft (or Experimental), equipped with a Lithium Power Module (LPM), Garmin's internal rechargeable backup battery.

This unit is in excellent cosmetic and operating condition and was removed from a fully functional aircraft solely because of an upgrade to a Garmin GI 275.

The Garmin G5 is a modern replacement for traditional vacuum-driven attitude indicators and directional gyros. It features a bright, sunlight-readable 3.5-inch color display and provides attitude, airspeed, altitude, vertical speed, ground track, slip/skid indication, and more. It can be configured as either a Primary Flight Display (PFD) or a Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) and integrates seamlessly with many Garmin navigators and autopilots.

The installed Lithium Power Module (LPM) provides approximately four hours of backup power in the event of an aircraft electrical failure, offering an added level of safety and reliability.

• The inspection documentation also confirms that the display screen is free of scratches, blemishes, dead pixels, discoloration, or any other defects.

• Removed only because of an upgrade to a Garmin GI 275.

The sale includes the avionics repair station's inspection and certification paperwork documenting that the instrument has been tested, verified to be fully operational, and that the display is in excellent, blemish-free condition.

This Garmin G5 was installed in my aircraft for approximately two years before I elected to upgrade my panel again. It was removed solely because of that upgrade—not because of any defect or operational issue.

Terms of Sale

This is a final sale. The unit is being professionally packaged and shipped on my behalf by the FAA-certificated avionics repair station that removed and inspected the instrument. They have verified and documented that the Garmin G5 is in excellent working order, that the display is free of any blemishes or defects, and that it was only in service for approximately two years before being removed as part of my panel upgrade. The inspection and certification paperwork from the repair station will be included with the sale, allowing you to purchase with confidence.
