For sale is an Apollo SL70 Mode C Aircraft Transponder (Part Number: 430-6090-100, Serial Number: 6030122). This slimline panel-mounted digital transponder is packaged with its genuine metal mounting sleeve/rack.
Source & Condition:
- Provenance: Sourced from a local estate sale.
- History: Features historical maintenance tags. The most recent biennial check label notes it complied with FAR 91.413 on 10/3/2014 via Repair Station RDDR 497H. A handwritten blue tape annotation reads "Remove + Blind Encod."
- Cosmetic State: Excellent physical condition. The faceplate, selection buttons (IDENT, SBY, ON, ALT, VFR, HLD), and dual adjustment knobs are clean and fully intact. The silver housing shows minimal standard installation surface scuffs, and the rear interface connector pins and BNC antenna connection ports are straight and clean.
- Testing: Sold as-is. As an estate reseller, I do not possess the specialized bench-testing systems required to power on or test aviation transponders.
