I was able to test the headphones (not the microphone) and the voice canceling feature. Both worked, although I did that in a home environment, so I can't vouch if they'll perform right on the plane.
I was not able to test the microphone, and it can possibly be broken and/or in need of a repair.
The plastic ends of the cords are crumbling (see last pictures).
Will need to be cleaned prior to use.
Due to the reasons above the unit is sold as is, for parts.
