Up for sale is a beautiful and historically solid McCoy Avionics MAC 1700 Digital Nav/Comm radio. This unit serves as a direct slide-in digital conversion replacement for vintage King KX-170B/KX-175B trays.
Cosmetically, the faceplate has been completely cleaned, refreshed, and detailed. Mechanically and electronically, it is in excellent bench-tested condition.
Technical Highlights:
FULLY OPERATIONAL BENCH TESTED. All Cartegory parameters has been met.
with the Voice sinthesis features that reads aloud the tuned frequency displays.
Replaced of Dead Internal Lithium coin battery encapsulated inside the Dallas maxim 1220 150+ IND.Non volatile Memory NVRM module with a lithium battery holder clip for ease of battery removal and exchange.
Added a 24 PIN Socket for easy removal and re installation of a another Dallas Maxim module if so requires.
Blown Tantalum capacitor was replaced with a newer one.
Reasons why this radio Was not powering up.
Now its fixed and fully operational.
